Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Proxle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Proxle is an LLM observability and cost optimization platform that provides:
- Proxy service for LLM API requests with logging and analytics
- Smart caching of LLM responses
- Cost tracking and attribution
- Request replay for debugging
- SDKs for Python and JavaScript
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate account information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Violate the terms of service of any LLM provider you access through Proxle
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Exceed rate limits or abuse the Service infrastructure
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
5. Data Handling
Proxle logs request and response data for the purpose of providing the Service (analytics, debugging, caching). See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
Provider API keys: Your LLM provider API keys are passed through to the provider in real-time and are never stored, except when you explicitly opt-in to store credentials for the request replay feature (encrypted at rest).
6. Intellectual Property
Proxle and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Proxle and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to your data and the content of your API requests.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Proxle is a proxy service and does not control the responses from LLM providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of provider responses.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proxle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms.
Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
